Day 01

Fly from Nairobi to Entebbe in the morning. On arrival, met and transferred to the jetty for the speedboat transfer to Ngamba Island. Remainder of the day free Ngamba Lunch, dinner and overnight at Ngamba Island Camp

The tents at the camp all overlook the lake and accommodating two persons (twin beds) in comfort with en suite bathroom facilities and solar lighting.

Life on Ngamba island….
Chimpanzee feeding is from the visitors platform along the edge of the sanctuary fence, plus the bedtime and early morning feeding routines at the overnight chimpanzee holding facility and unlimited use of the other island facilities and optional activities.

One may also take out one of the kayaks around the island bays in search of wildlife such as monitor lizards, otters and the abundant bird life (154 recorded) or view a local fishing village, go for a sunset cruise, fish or just relax on your tent’s private deck overlooking the lake with sundowners while watching the bats emerge from the forest and the colourful African sun set.

During your stay on Ngamba, a CSWCT staff member will be resident on the island and available to provide information, and answer any questions on chimpanzees.

Day 02

Breakfast at the Camp. Later, transferred back to Entebbe by boat and catch the flight Back to Nairobi.

04 Days/03 Nights Road Safari Lake Naivasha & Maasai Mara – Kenya

Ideal for those arriving before 09.00 am into Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi, met and immediately commence safari to Naivasha with a stop for breakfast in Nairobi. Enjoy the drive through agricultural highlands and views of the Great Rift Valley (app 1.5 hours leisurely drive) Lunch at the Lodge Afternoon at leisure, take boat ride to crescent Island and return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
