Short Road Safari

DAY 1:
Arrival in Nairobi, met and transferred to your Hotel for overnight. (All meals excluded).

DAY 2:
Breakfast at leisure and afterwards, collected from your Hotel and commence on a sight-seeing tour of Nairobi, visiting the Sheldrick animal orphanage to see baby Elephants and a Rhino, the Giraffe feeding Centre, Karen Blixen Museum as well as the Kazuri bead shop and factory. Afterwards, visit the National Museum (subject to availability) Later, return to your Hotel for overnight (lunch, dinner excluded).

DAY 3:
Breakfast at the Hotel. 09.00 Collected by the driver and commence Safari to Mt. Kenya arriving at Mountain lodge in time for lunch (app 3 hours’ drive) Game viewing at leisure from the lodge decks all afternoon and overnight. (Optional nature walk can be arranged and paid for directly at the Lodge) Dinner and overnight at Mountain lodge.

DAY 4:
Breakfast at the Lodge and depart for Samburu (approx. 03 hrs. drive) arriving at Larsen’s Camp in time for lunch. This afternoon enjoy a game viewing drive in the Samburu National Park. Dinner and overnight at Larsen’s Camp.

DAY 5:
Enjoy dawn and late afternoon game drives in the reserve. All meals and overnight at Larsen’s Camp.

DAY 6:
Depart after breakfast for Nakuru passing by the picturesque Thomson’s Falls (Approx. 05 hrs. drive) arriving for a late lunch. Afternoon game viewing and bird watching in the park Dinner and overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge.

DAY 7:
Dawn game drive prior to breakfast at the Lodge. Afterwards, depart for Nairobi enjoying views of the Great Rift Valley en route. This afternoon free for last minute shopping etc. This evening, enjoy a barbecue dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, thereafter, dropped off at the airport for your return flight home.
