Honeymooners Luxury Safari

DAY 1:
Arrive in Nairobi, met at the airport and transferred to your Hotel for overnight (all meals excluded).

DAY 2:
Depart Nairobi on schedule flight to Nanyuki. On arrival at Nanyuki Airstrip, met and transferred to the Mt. Kenya Safari Club. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure. (Lunch, Dinner and overnight at the Club ( casual but smart dress code- jeans, T- shirts, tennis shoes are not allowed).

DAY 3:
Full day at leisure at the club with leisurely activities such as swimming, horse riding, bowling, golf & tennis. Also available is a Safari walk around the vast club grounds. All meals and overnight at Mt. Kenya Safari Club (optional excursions to hike the foothills of Mt. Kenya available at extra cost).

DAY 4:
Breakfast at the Club and thereafter, transferred to the Nanyuki airstrip for the schedule flight to Masai Mara. On arrival in the Mara, met in camp 4WD vehicle and proceed on a game viewing drive prior to being transferred to the Mara Explorer Camp for lunch. Later a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Explorer Camp.

DAY 5:
Early rise in readiness for the transfer to the balloon launch site at 05.30am. Take off and after approximately 01 hours’ flight, land and enjoy a bush breakfast with champagne. Afterwards, transferred back to the camp, game viewing en route. Remainder of the morning at leisure Enjoy a game drive in the reserve later in the late afternoon.

Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Mara Explorer Camp. This luxury tented Camp lies at the confluence of the reserve’s four main game-viewing areas, and enjoys prime views of the spectacular wildebeest migration between July and September. During the remainder of the year, the area still teems with wildlife.

DAY 6:
Final game drive at dawn prior to breakfast at the Camp, later transferred back to the airstrip for your return to Nairobi departing at 11.00hrs. Arrive Nairobi at around noon and await to board the schedule flight to Lamu departing at 13.15 Met on arrival in Lamu and transferred by boat to Kipungani Explorer, a relaxing coastal hideaway! Remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Kipungani Explorer.

DAY 7, 8 & 9:
Full days at leisure on the beach All meals and overnight at Kipungani Explorer.

DAY 10:
Leisurely breakfast at Kipungani. Lunch at the Hotel In the afternoon transferred back to Manda Island for the return flight back to Nairobi. Met and transferred to the Hotel for Overnight (dinner excluded).

DAY 11:
Breakfast at the Hotel. This day free for shopping and visiting the Nairobi sights, Karen Blixen and Giraffe Centre etc. This evening ends with a grand barbecue dinner At the Carnivore Restaurant after which you will be dropped back to the airport for your departure flight home.
